Vision

NIC Cochin will act as a catalyst in promoting extensive I T usage in the state. It can play a major role in the area of EDI / E-commerce which can provide a fillip to the trade and industry. It is also expected to change the educational scenario by providing Internet service to all major schools and colleges. NIC Cochin is envisaged to help the exporters in getting orders and executing them in an easier and faster way in order to meet the challenges of globalization of the economy. The medical professionals, researchers and social organizations will be able to perform better with the help of the facilities offered by NIC Cochin. The usage of Video Conferencing will reduce the travel effort and expenditure and improve the efficiency in administration in a big way.
